4:23: re. "Is that their slogan in Korea??" -- actually it used to be "Lucky-Goldstar" back in the 90s, and they changed it to "Life's Good" to appeal more to native English speakers than the original Konglish-sounding name.

I've got to ask leaves. Bear in mind I'm not the most technologically up-to-date and I'm not being funny! How do I get that Cortana digital assistant on my laptop? Is it something that comes with newer versions of Windows or is it a standalone program that I buy someplace? I didn't even know they had something like that till I heard the little Voice come chirping out of your laptop you were playing with.frankly, I've been considering getting one of those Google home assistant pieces of you know What but the main reason I haven't gotten one is quite simply the places that are selling them their staff are inept idiots. They couldn't answer the most basic questions which made me very upset, especially given I went to a dozen different stores and basically all they could tell you is the name of the product and what it costs I kid you not. What I wanted to find out is were those digital home assistant units stand alone or did they require being connected to a laptop /computer or require the use of a smart phone.I personally don't use a smart phone and I wanted to find out if I had to set up a computer to operate the thing I've got plenty of modern computers that I haven't gotten around to reinstalling an operating system on. I know those digital assistants would be compatible with Windows XP, which is what I still use on a military issue ruggedized laptop. I've been trying to find out if I can get one of those digital assistants without having to buy one of those Google air freshener looking things. Sounds like that laptop had a digital assistant program so I'm looking to find out if the program is something you purchase or comes with the operating system, or if it's a option with certain laptops? Like I said I never kept up with technology much.

Never had an LG laptop, but I'm not a huge fan of their appliances... In the case of the cheaply built expensive refrigerator my parents bought some years ago with plastic parts breaking off inside the ice maker just months after buying it, as well as drawers and shelves cracking easily, leaking, freezing things that aren't supposed to be frozen, etc... Less "Life's Good" and more "Landfill Garbage". Their customer support was absolutely useless as well.
